The rules for using Kinji — written plainly.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kinji app and website, operated by WTL Vision Corp. operating as Kinji.

By downloading, accessing, or using Kinji, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Using Kinji

Eligibility: Kinji is available to users who are 13 years of age or older. By using Kinji, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Account: You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use:You agree to use Kinji only for its intended purpose — personal meal planning and pantry management. You may not use Kinji to: violate any laws or regulations, impersonate others, scrape or copy Kinji's content or data, or interfere with the app's operation.

2. Early Access

Kinji is currently in early access. This means the app is still under active development. Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice. We will do our best to communicate significant changes in advance. Early access is provided ‘as is’ — we appreciate your patience and feedback as we build.

3. Intellectual Property

All content within Kinji — including the name, logo, design, copy, recipe suggestions, and underlying technology — is owned by or licensed to Kinji and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Kinji's content without our written permission.

Content you add to Kinji (such as ingredients you log or notes you write) remains yours. By adding content, you grant Kinji a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Kinji Plus is billed monthly at $5.99/month. Cancel any time. No refunds for partial months.

5. Third-Party Services

Kinji may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as app stores or analytics tools). These services have their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. Kinji is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

6. Disclaimers

No nutritional or medical advice: Recipe suggestions and ingredient information provided by Kinji are for general informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional nutritional or medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional regarding dietary requirements, allergies, or health conditions.

Accuracy: Kinji uses AI to suggest meals and track ingredients. While we work to make these suggestions accurate and useful, we cannot guarantee they will be error-free. Use your own judgement when cooking.

‘As is’ service:Kinji is provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kinji and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Kinji will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $100 CAD if you have paid nothing).

8. Termination

You may stop using Kinji and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. On termination, your right to use Kinji ends immediately.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date above and notify you by email if the changes are material. Continued use of Kinji after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
