Welcome to Kinji.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kinji mobile app, website, and related services (“Services”) provided by WTL Vision Corp (“Kinji”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using Kinji, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Your Kinji Account

Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least the age of majority in your province or territory; or
• Have parental consent if you are a minor using Kinji in a family setting.

Account Responsibility

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Use of the Services

Kinji is designed to help users manage pantry inventory, discover recipes, plan meals, compare grocery prices, and improve food habits. You agree not to use Kinji for:

• Illegal purposes
• Harassment, fraud, or misuse
• Uploading harmful code (malware, viruses, bots)
• Scraping, reverse engineering, or disrupting our Services
• Misrepresenting your identity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

User Content

Content You Provide

“User Content” includes:

• Pantry items
• Recipes
• Photos of food, receipts, or pantry scans
• Comments, notes, and feedback

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Kinji a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Store, process, display, and analyze your content within the Services
• Use anonymized or aggregated data to improve Kinji’s features
• Generate insights, recommendations, and AI-driven outputs

We do not claim ownership over your recipes, personal uploads, or pantry data.

Removal of Content

You may delete your data or close your account at any time. We may remove User Content that violates our policies.

Subscriptions & Payments

Fees

Some features require a paid subscription. All prices are shown in your local currency unless stated otherwise.

Payment Processing

Kinji uses secure third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, Square) to handle payments. We do not store or process full credit card numbers.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. You may cancel anytime through the app store or Kinji's account settings.

Refunds

Refunds, if applicable, follow the policies of the platform through which you subscribed (Apple App Store, Google Play, or direct subscription).

Intellectual Property

Ownership

All Kinji content, including:

• Features
• Branding
• Graphics
• Algorithms
• AI-generated content (excluding your inputs)

are owned by WTL Vision Corp and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

Limited License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Kinji for your own household use. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our software
• Create derivative works
• Resell or sublicense Kinji
• Use Kinji for commercial cooking operations without written permission

Health & Allergy Disclaimer

Kinji provides recipe ideas, meal recommendations, and food suggestions based on the information you enter. You acknowledge that:

• Kinji does not provide medical, nutritional, or professional health advice
• Allergy detection relies on your self-entered data
• Food safety and dietary decisions remain your responsibility

Always double-check ingredients and seek professional advice when needed.

Grocery & Price Information

Kinji may display:

• Flyer data
• Price comparisons
• Store listings
• Marketplace information

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee:

• Real-time accuracy
• Availability of items
• Pricing changes
• Third-party errors

Kinji is not responsible for inaccuracies from retailers, partners, or third-party data sources.

Third-Party Services

Kinji may link or integrate with third parties such as:

• Retailers
• Delivery services
• Payment processors
• Analytics providers

Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their actions or omissions.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Misuse the Services
• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or harmful activity

You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to Kinji ends
• Your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy

Disclaimer of Warranties

Kinji is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee:

• Error-free operation
• Uninterrupted availability
• Accurate or complete recommendations

Use Kinji at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: Kinji, WTL Vision Corp, and its team members are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data or profits
• Any issues arising from reliance on AI-generated suggestions
• Errors in third-party pricing or content

Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kinji, WTL Vision Corp, and its team members against claims arising from:

• Your misuse of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or third-party right

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email, notice on our website, or in-app alerts.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in Ontario, Canada.
